Officers responded to a report of a burglary and domestic dispute around the 800 block of 8th Street around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

Police saw 34-year-old Kevin Talley, of Northeast D.C., waving a BB gun on the street. Police say they told Talley several times to drop the weapon.

Talley pointed the BB gun at the officers. Police shot him, and Talley was transported to the hospital with critical injuries.

No pedestrians or officers were injured during Saturday’s incident.

This is an ongoing investigation.

The two officers involved in the shooting have been placed on administrative leave, as is customary for police-involved shootings during investigations, according to police.

The footage from the officers’ body cameras is under review.

It happened around 8 p.m. near Princess Anne Lane and West Longview Drive in Woodbridge, near the Potomac Mills Mall, police said.

The officer pulled over the driver, who became combative and assaulted the officer. Additional officers arrived and helped detain the suspect.

Two passengers in the suspect’s car fled the scene, and police are looking for them.

The suspect was taken into custody. The officer was flown to a hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.

Prince George’s County police found Kelvin Robinson, of Bowie, around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, inside a vehicle near the Largo-Kettering Branch Library, in the area of Capital Court and Capital Lane.

Robinson had a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating his death as a homicide.

The fire engulfed the antique center, located at 8101 Richmond Highway, around 9:30 p.m.

The blaze started on the second floor of the antique center, Afterward, the second floor collapsed.

As a result of the fire, northbound Richmond Highway was closed until early Tuesday.

There were no reported injuries.

It happened on the 15500 block of Saint Phillips Road in Aquasco, Prince George’s County police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lt. Manuel Rivera says the girl died from a gunshot wound to the upper body just before 10 p.m.

Investigators are trying to determine what events lead up to the girl’s death.

Police say they responded to calls at around 11 p.m. related to a possible death and soon discovered a deceased man with gunshot wounds.

It happened in the 13400 block of Vandiver Court, near Whiteholm Park in Prince George’s County.

Officials say they are investigating this death as a homicide.

The crash happened around 9:15 p.m. on Contee Road at Laurel Bowie Road, Prince George’s County police say.

When police arrived, they found the woman lying in the road unresponsive.

The car involved in the accident remained at the scene.

Contee Road was closed in both directions as a result of the collision.

Serge Deumeni, 40, of Bowie, was the pedestrian struck around 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Adelphi area, Prince George’s County police said. He was found dead at the scene, in the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Metzerott Road, according to police.

Police also said Deumeni was trying to cross New Hampshire Avenue when he was hit by the first car. Prince George’s County police spokesman Cpl. Tyler Hunter said that the first driver who struck the man stayed on the scene, but in a matter of seconds, a second car struck the victim.

The second driver did not stop, but police said the driver may not have realized that they had struck the victim, who was already on the ground from the initial strike.

Police did not mention the identity of the first driver, and they are still working to identify the second driver.

It happened just before 7:45 p.m. Friday. Park Police pursued a white male driver in an SUV that was involved in a hit-and-run southbound on the GW Parkway in the area of Slaters Lane.

The suspect led police on a chase through the parkway. He left the parkway and crashed at the intersection of Fort Hunt road and Alexandria Avenue in the Mount Vernon area, Sgt. James Dingeldein of U.S. Park Police .

It is at the intersection that police shot the suspect. It is not clear if the suspect was shot before or after he crashed.

The roadway was closed for six hours while police investigated the scene. The investigation is ongoing.

Police say they received calls of a man with a gun in the area.

When officers arrived, they encountered the man and shots were fired soon after.

Police say the man driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

A juvenile sitting in the passenger seat of the car and the bus driver were both taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. on the 7500 block of Rhode Island Avenue, an area that is predominantly off-campus housing for University of Maryland students.

The male victims were taken to a hospital and treated for nonlife threatening injuries. They are University of Maryland students.

Police are searching for the suspects, whose last know direction of travel was toward a Metro stop.
