J. Brooks is an Award winning Broadcaster, Sportscaster, Voice/Stage/ TV Actor, Narrator and Writer, who has also acted in such shows as “VEEP” and “House of Cards鈥�. Working in Talk, Music and Sports formats for over 20 years. Locally, Nationally and Internationally for CBS Radio,Westwood One, NFL Network, ESPN, NFLPA, Fox Sports, The Weather Channel and SiriusXM Satellite Radio.
Covering sports events like the MLB Hall of Fame Inductions, Pre, Regular and Postseason for NFL, MLB and NHL, including their 鈥淲inter Classic鈥� event. Also gave play by play for the 50th Congressional Baseball game at Nationals Park and is the 鈥淰oice of Salisbury University Football鈥�. J. is the guy who goes to as many Sports Events as possible and is a 鈥淩adio Junkie鈥� having radio鈥檚 in every room, so he doesn鈥檛 miss anything. While Baseball is his favorite sport, the one he enjoy鈥檚 playing the most is, Disc Golf, a quicker paced, cheaper and a less stressful time out on the links!
A Pennsylvania native, J. has worked, 鈥渢own to town, up and down the dial鈥�. J. was Cal and Billy Ripkens鈥� first producer when they got into Broadcasting, and now look at them! Known for his many impressions, his ultimate dream is to be a Cartoon Voice and if you ask nicely, he will do one or a hundred for you.
