Washington D.C. 鈥 WTOP 103.5 FM was honored over the weekend with eight Chesapeake AP Awards 鈥 the most of any other major radio station the Washington area.

The awards were presented to WTOP employees Saturday at the annual Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association Convention in Ocean City, Maryland. The Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association is comprised of television and radio professionsl from across the region.
In 2014 alone, WTOP has won more than 30 major awards for excellence in journalism. Including five Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards and seven National Headliner Awards.
