McDonald鈥檚 first in Rosslyn: Baked goods

WASHINGTON — The new Rosslyn McDonald鈥檚 that opens May 8 will be the first McDonald鈥檚 in the Washington area to sell McCafe baked goods, such as muffins, coffee cake and croissants.

The Rosslyn McDonald鈥檚 will also have kiosk ordering and table service, with orders delivered to tables by McDonald鈥檚 employees.

Rosslyn lost its only McDonald鈥檚 location in 2014, when it closed to make way for construction of the and the new Rosslyn Metro entrance at 1800 N. Lynn Street.

McDonald鈥檚 is the first of several restaurants that will open on the ground and plaza levels of the Central Place residential tower. Others include sweetgreen, Cava Mezze Grill, Compass Coffee, Nando’s Peri Peri and The Beet.
