WASHINGTON — A man was arrested Friday night after he tossed a backpack and jumped over the North White House fence.
He was聽immediately taken into custody shortly before midnight by Secret Service Uniformed Division Officers without incident. The man聽was charged with Unlawful Entry and transported to the Metropolitan Police Department. The Secret Service performed standard security sweeps of the area聽and nothing was found.
The White House returned to normal operations shortly after the incident.
