WASHINGTON 鈥� One of the stars of 鈥淭he Real Housewives of Beverly Hills鈥� has opened up about her battle with Lyme Disease, saying that it has left her unable 鈥渢o read, write, or even watch TV.鈥�
As reported by , Yolanda Foster has written a titled 鈥淚 Would Like to Apologize,鈥� in which she explains that her battle with the disease has left her unable to communicate consistently.
鈥淚t feels like someone came in and confiscated my brain and tied my hands behind my back to just watch and see life go by without me participating in it,” Foster writes.
People reports that Foster鈥檚 Lyme Disease has been only glancingly referred to in the current season of the Bravo show, but Foster writes that she has been battling the disease for three years, adding that 鈥淚 wasted the first year trying to get diagnosed and spent the next two trying to find a cure. I have gone from the conventional long-term antibiotics to about every holistic protocol there is to offer. Unfortunately, I was only able to get to about a 60% recovery until I relapsed in early December and have not been able to find my way back.”
She expresses frustration that it took her so long to be diagnosed, and that there are vaccines or cures for the disease, which was first identified in 1908.
鈥淪omething doesn鈥檛 add up here, and I will make it my life mission to figure this out, because nobody deserves to suffer this way in 2015.
鈥淯nfortunately, I am of no use to anyone or anything at this moment while weathering the storm.鈥�
