WASHINGTON — “Angry Birds” became a sensation as an iPhone app.
Now, a trailer has聽dropped for a movie version,聽which聽comes complete with a cover of the famous聽Carpenters lyric, “Why do birds suddenly appear?”
The movie聽will feature the voices of Jason Sudeikis, Peter Dinklage, Bill Hader, Josh Gad, Maya Rudolph and Danny McBride.
The script will be written by “Simpsons” and “King of the Hill” alum Jon Vitti.
“Angry Birds” hits movie theaters on聽May 20, 2016.
