WASHINGTON 鈥� The producers of the 鈥淪tar Wars鈥� films have announced the title of the next chapter.
announced on Monday that Episode VIII, the next film in the Skywalker saga, will be titled 鈥淪tar Wars: The Last Jedi.鈥�
The site says the film will be written and directed by Rian Johnson and will be released Dec. 15.
鈥淪tar Wars: The Force Awakens,鈥� the seventh episode in the series, was released in December 2015.
鈥淩ogue One: A Star Wars Story,鈥� not considered part of the nine-episode saga, was released in December 2016.
