WASHINGTON 鈥� A young man is dead after being struck by a pickup truck early Thursday in Lorton, Virginia.
It happened around 5:19 a.m. on Lorton Road at Armistead roads.
Fairfax County police say it appears the man was crossing Lorton Road when he was struck.
The driver stayed on the scene.
