WASHINGTON 鈥� Police in Fairfax County are investigating a pair of drive-by shootings in McLean, Virginia, over the weekend.
In both cases, moving cars were hit by gunfire while they were traveling northbound on Old Dominion Drive.聽The drivers of the cars each heard a “loud bang” and later聽discovered bullet holes in their vehicles, police say.
The first car was hit late Saturday night near Falls Run Road.聽Investigators say the second car was struck a short time later, just after聽midnight, near Bellview Road.
Witnesses say a white sedan, possibly an Audi, was traveling southbound on Old Dominion Drive at both scenes at the time shots were fired.
