WASHINGTON聽鈥� A tractor-trailer driver from Montgomery County, Maryland died in neighboring Frederick County after his rig struck a guardrail and burst into flames late Monday.
Karl Eugene Neal, 59, of Dickerson, Maryland died at the scene on Md. 80/Fingerboard Road in Urbana, according to Maryland State Police.
The crash involving a 2016 Peterbuilt tractor-trailer occurred at 10:45 p.m. on Fingerboard Road east of Park Mill Road.
Fingerboard Road has been closed. New guardrails are being installed.
