Airlines, Amtrak and Greyhound: A host of delays and cancellations

WASHINGTON — Several transit companies have announced delays and cancellations for the early part of this week as a snowstorm hits the Northeast.

Delta Airlines, US Airways, American Airlines and United Airlines have announced that flights between Monday and Wednesday to, from and through airports from D.C. to Quebec, Scranton, Syracuse and points in between are subject to delays and cancellations; ticket-holders may be eligible for refunds of fee-free rescheduling.

Southwest Airlines has a similar advisory for those flying to, from or through the three D.C.-area airports for Monday; for airports between Philadelphia, Albany and Portland, it’s good through Wednesday. For a list of the affected airports, click .

Amtrak has a host of cancellations. They’ve modified service in the Northeast Corridor for the rest of Monday, and they’ve suspended service in the New England Region for Tuesday. For more information, click .

Greyhound says that there will be no service north of D.C. until about midday Wednesday. For more information, click . And Greyhound’s Bolt Bus service is cancelled north of Washington through Wednesday.
