WASHINGTON — One body of the two missing swimmers in聽the聽Chesapeake Bay聽was recovered聽Saturday,聽Calvert County Sheriff鈥檚 office said.
The two brothers were last seen swimming聽off Cove Point beach聽Friday聽night.聽They were swimming with a juvenile when they entered deep water and became tired from swimming against the tide, police said.
Capt. Todd M. Ireland said it was 鈥減resumed鈥� that Daniel Jason Brown, 37, of Lusby, and his brother Douglas Howell Brown, 39, of Mechanicsville, died due to accidental drowning.
The U.S. Coast Guard was聽searching for the men Saturday morning. The body has not yet been identified.
Crews are still searching for the other body, reports.
