WASHINGTON — A man was killed聽after his聽motorcycle struck an SUV聽in Gaithersburg on Saturday, Montgomery County police said.
The crash occurred at around 8 p.m. near Frederick Road and Christopher Avenue. A 35-year-old man, the motorcyclist, was riding聽south on Frederick Road when it struck an Acura MDX that was聽making a U-turn onto the south side of the roadway, police said.
The man, whom police did not identify,聽was taken to Suburban Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Police said the driver of the other vehicle, a 48-year-old woman, was not injured nor were the two other women passengers.
