Widows of ISIL terrorists attempt to strike back

WASHINGTON 鈥 U.S. and British drone strikes have killed their Islamic State husbands. Now, the widows of聽Junaid Hussein聽and Abu Abbas al聽Lubnani聽appear to be聽trying to retaliate聽against U.S. military personnel, by distributing alleged聽personal information about them.

Hussain was one of the architects of the Islamic State鈥檚 cyber activities and聽Lubnani聽was involved in recruiting girls to come to Syria.

On聽Monday, former British punk rocker Sally Jones, widow of Hussein,聽and聽Lubnani鈥檚聽widow, Umm聽Muthanna,聽connected on Twitter and commiserated over the deaths of their husbands.

After opening up a Twitter account,聽which has been since shut down,聽Jones, reportedly back in Britain,聽engaged with聽Muthanna, who is still聽in Syria.聽Muthanna, who聽referred聽to Jones as 鈥渟ister,鈥 indicated they had recently spent time together聽in person.

“So glad I got to see you before my聽idda,鈥 said聽Muthanna, referring to the Muslim grieving period after a spouse dies.

鈥淢e too,鈥 said Jones, who then began a series of tweets by posting something she called 鈥淜ill list 鈥 session two.鈥

The list included the names of U.S. military personnel. She also聽posted several documents, addresses and photographs of people alleged to be U.S. military personnel.聽Jones聽said聽she did it聽to coincide with the anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks and to honor her husband.

Muthanna聽posted pictures of聽Lubnani聽and images of locations in ISIL-controlled territory, calling life in the Islamic State 鈥渁 delight.鈥

After the posting online,聽Jones聽then tweeted, 鈥淭he US is just angry at me because the FBI still聽can鈥檛remove the 2nd Military Kill List my聽husband鈥檚聽brothers made on 9/11聽Fisabillilah鈥

鈥淭he FBI are no match for the Islamic state Hack聽Div, the 2nd US Military Kill list has been up since 9/11 …聽i聽know it hurts America 馃檨 l0l,鈥 wrote Jones.

Late Monday afternoon, after posting the list,聽Jones聽engaged in a long-running argument with several evidently anti-ISIL tweeters before her account was suspended.

There is no evidence that the information posted is accurate. U.S. military officials indicated recently that ISIL聽had previously posted a “hit list” containing information that was inaccurate.
