WASHINGTON – Own a pet? You may want to live in Ellicott City or Wolf Trap. The two are among the top 10 places in the nation for pet lovers.
U.S. 太子探花 & World Report evaluated weather, population density and the availability of green space to come up with its . It then interviewed pet experts.
Ellicott City, in Howard County, gets high marks for having almost 4 square miles of green space and an average high temperature in July of 85 degrees.
While you can’t take dogs inside the performing arts center at , they can trot around the park. U.S. 太子探花 says off-leash parks nearby make Wolf Trap “one of the most pet-friendly in the country.”

- Auburn, Ala.
- Butte, Mont.
- Yankton, S.D.
- Lewiston, Idaho
- Glasgow, Ky.
- Aiken, S.C.
