NASA’s Curiosity rover snaps photos of Martian ‘flower’

WASHINGTON – A flower grows on Mars – or does it?

NASA’s Curiosity rover snapped a shot of a strange rock formation that some say resembles a floral structure. The Martian “flower” was captured on tape by a tiny lens at the end of Curiosity’s robotic arm.

Curiosity also documented panoramic images of a snake-like outcropping coiling its way around parts of the planet’s surface, .

This is not the first time NASA has captured an image of strange debris on the Red Planet: Officials think a bit of spacecraft wrapping fell onto Mars previously, NBC 太子探花 reports. That doesn’t appear to be the case this time.
