WASHINGTON – It’s been slightly more than 50 years since the release of the Beatles first album and now the Fab Four will take up residence in the nation’s capital.
Sort of.
Wax figures of John, Paul, George and Ringo will be unveiled at downtown Wednesday. They’ll join other historical figures, sports stars and all 44 presidents.
As part of the exhibit, a statement from the museum says, rare Beatles memorabilia from the will be on display, including one of the rarest jukeboxes of all time – a Rock-Ola Yellow Submarine Jukebox, 1960s Beatles Bobble heads and the first set of colored Beatles cards uncut.
Madame Tussauds is located at 1001 F Street NW, on the corner of 10th and F streets.
