WASHINGTON – Former Washington Wizards star Gilbert Arenas was arrested early Thursday after driving with a truck full of fireworks, according to .
The celebrity news site says Arenas was pulled over for speeding in a Ford pickup truck at about 2:30 a.m. in Los Angeles, and had fireworks in the bed and cab of the truck.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s bomb squad reportedly was called to the scene, and TMZ says a cameraman counted about 20 boxes being unloaded from the vehicle.
TMZ says Arenas will be booked for possessing illegal fireworks and cited for speeding and driving without a license.
In 2010, Arenas to probation and 30 days in a halfway house after bringing guns into the Wizards’ locker room at Verizon Center.
