LOS ANGELES (AP) 鈥� The first game in Spain will feature a Latin music showcase with Argentine producer Bizarrap and Puerto Rican superstar set to perform during the halftime show.
The two hitmakers will take the stage Nov. 16 when the Washington Commanders face the Miami Dolphins at Madrid鈥檚 Santiago Bernab茅u Stadium, the league announced Thursday. It marks Daddy Yankee鈥檚 return to the stage after , and his first live performance with Bizarrap, one of the world鈥檚 most streamed producers.
鈥淕etting the opportunity to headline the halftime show for the NFL鈥檚 first game in Spain is a huge honor,鈥� Bizarrap said in a statement. 鈥淓specially alongside Daddy Yankee, such a legend. … I can鈥檛 wait.鈥�
a four-time Latin Grammy winner known for his viral 鈥淏ZRP Music Sessions,鈥� will debut a new collaboration with Daddy Yankee titled 鈥淏ZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 0/66鈥� during the show.
Daddy Yankee, long dubbed the 鈥淜ing of Reggaet贸n,鈥� said he鈥檚 eager to perform again.
鈥淚 feel so joyful about music and the amazing track we鈥檝e created together,鈥� he said.
The event continues the league鈥檚 push to spotlight Latin artists at its international games, part of a broader strategy to expand the NFL鈥檚 cultural and global footprint.
Pregame performances will include the Madrid Marine Infantry Group Band with Spain鈥檚 national anthem and vocalist Karina Pasian with the U.S. national anthem.
