WASHINGTON 鈥斅燱egman’s Food You Feel Good About Organic Walnut Halves & Pieces have been recalled by the store’s supplier because of possible聽salmonella contamination.
The voluntary recall by involves聽3,276 plastic containers of walnuts.
The walnuts come in 6-ounce containers and have a best if used by date of 1/27/16 on the bottom of the container. They have a UPC code of聽077890358009.
The supplier says the walnuts were sold in stores in Virginia and Maryland聽between Jan. 27 and March 17, 2015.
Wegmans says customers can return the walnuts for a full refund.

The Food and Drug Administration says there have been no reported illnesses.
In addition to Wegmans, also recalled raw walnuts for possible聽salmonella contamination.
