Sounders snap club-record losing streak on late goal by Kossa-Rienzi in 1-1 draw with Cincinnati

CINCINNATI (AP) — Kalani Kossa-Rienzi scored late in the second half and the Seattle Sounders snapped a club-record eight-match losing streak in league play by earning a 1-1 draw with FC Cincinnati on Saturday night.

a pass from Albert Rusnák in the 83rd minute and scored for the third time this season to tie it 1-all. Rusnák subbed in to the match in the 77th minute before collecting his sixth assist.

Evander Da Silva Ferreira goal — as Cincinnati peppered Seattle keeper Andrew Thomas with four shots in the 24th minute — to give Cincinnati a 1-0 lead. Evander also has 11 assists and leads the league in goal contributions.

Thomas matched his career high with seven saves — six of them coming in the first half for Seattle (7-9-4).

Roman Celentano stopped two shots for Cincinnati (8-6-7).

The Sounders are still looking for their first victory since beating the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 3-2 on May 13.
