WASHINGTON鈥撀燣arry David is receiving rave reviews for his聽performance as Bernie Sanders on “Saturday Night Live.”
The 鈥淪einfeld鈥� and 鈥淐urb Your Enthusiasm鈥� star impersonated the independent senator from Vermont,聽in a lampoon of the first Democratic presidential debate, which also included Alec Baldwin as former Virginia Sen. Jim Webb.
“Not a fan of the banks”聽his character聽said. “They trample on the middle class. They control Washington, and why do they chain all their pens to the desks? Who’s trying to steal a pen from a bank? Makes no sense!”
Larry David sounds more like Bernie Sanders than Bernie Sanders does.
