WASHINGTON 鈥� Foo Fighters guitarist and frontman Dave Grohl made a guest appearance on ABC鈥檚 鈥淭he Muppets鈥� on Tuesday night, but, given his history as drummer with Nirvana and Queens of the Stone Age, the show could only end one way: with a drum-off against noted puppet percussionist Animal.
鈥淚鈥檝e been聽waiting years for this,鈥� Grohl says before they commence. That鈥檚 highly plausible. And it ended probably the only way it could.
