in Loudoun County, Virginia, features their fall festival from Oct. 1 through Halloween. They have pumpkin picking, a corn maze, marshmallow roasting over a bonfire and more. There are also cider doughnuts for those looking for a taste of fall.
They’ve been holding their fall fest for more than 25 years.
“We’ve grown quite a bit and we’re able to offer more and more to our guests,” Andrew Taylor, general manager of the farm, told WTOP. “We now have a full day experience here. Everything from pumpkin picking, to the corn maze, to a 12-acre play area for the whole family to come out and enjoy the whole day at the farm.”
Taylor says one of the popular attractions over the last five years or so is a pumpkin-eating dinosaur named “P-Rex.”
There’s also a winery and brewery on the property for some adult fun afterwards.
When it comes to COVID-19 and safety, Taylor encouraged visitors to buy tickets ahead of time. He said there’s plenty of space for social distancing on the 500-acre farm.
“We just have so much space for people to spread out. We have a 15-acre play area. We have a large corn maze, and most of the time you’re really not near people,” Taylor said. “We encourage people to come out and get out of the city for the day and enjoy that farm weather.”
