WASHINGTON 鈥 Before and during Pope Francis鈥 address to a joint meeting of Congress on Thursday, a rally will be held in support of his stance on climate change.
The will be held on the National Mall between 3rd and 7th streets on Thursday between 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Pope Francis is set to address Congress at about 9:15 a.m.
While the content of the pope鈥檚 remarks to Congress isn鈥檛 known, it鈥檚 anticipated that he will address the topic on Thursday 鈥 which has led one Catholic Republican member of the House to announce he won鈥檛 go to the address.
